Update: Food Pantry, Postcards and virtual meetings
Your help is still needed
At 10:00 am this Monday, the Food Pantry at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church will reopen thanks to the generosity of Indivisible Ferndale members. Ruth Stretch and Sharon Katri will be preparing twelve boxes of food staples for those families most in need in our community. In addition to the food items, each recipient will receive $10 in cash to use as needed.
Ruth still needs the following items to complete each box:
- Bags of masa flour
- Bags of pinto beans
- Small bottles of vegetable oil
If you can pick up any of these items tomorrow, please deliver them to the Stretch’s home at 726 Washington Street. If you have questions, you can call Ruth at 786-4172.
The Food Pantry will be an ongoing project for Indivisible Ferndale as long as necessary. Please give any amount you can by writing a check made payable to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. In the memo field, please write “food pantry.”
Mail your check to:
- Ruth Stretch
- PO Box 1163
- Ferndale, CA 95536
Come & Get ‘em: two postcard packets left
We still have two packets left (20 postcards, script and addressing into) for Christy Smith for Congress on our front porch. Come and get ‘em! Please leave a $10 donation for each packet in the jar to cover postage and printing expenses. These postcards need to be completed and in the mail by April 15.
