This just in . . . Cliff Berkowitz kicks off his campaign!
I apologize for the short notice, but I just received this notice today. KHUM radio personality, Cliff Berkowitz, is kicking off his campaign for First District County Supervisor opposing incumbent supervisor, Rex Bohn tomorrow. Here’s the announcement.
As you have likely heard by now, Cliff Berkowitz is running for the First District Board of Supervisors seat. He is challenging incumbent Supervisor Rex Bohn. Cliff and his campaign will need support of many kinds from a lot of us to succeed.
With this in mind, we hope you can join us for Cliff Berkowitz’s Campaign Kickoff:
When: Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 28, starting at 5:30 pm
Where: Sequoia Park, Eureka, near the Gazebo
Why: To support Cliff, learn about him and the issues where he’ll focus his efforts; and to support a fundamental change of direction in the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors.
Come by to hear a brief talk, grab some buttons, chat with friends, and learn how you can help support this campaign. Let’s reject politics which favor the wealthy, connected and powerful. Let’s work for transparency and policies that favor working people, preserve farm and forest lands, protect our clean drinking water and environment, and that immediately address climate change and sea-level rise!
