The postcard challenge continues . . .
The postcard writing challenge continues with the other dale (Cloverdale Indivisible)! Here’s your update.
Indivisible Cloverdale has “seen” our 500 NC09 postcards and raised it by 400 more!
Here’s Cloverdale Indivisible’s communique from last week:
Update on Challenge from Ferndale
For those of you interested in the challenge we face from Indivisible Ferndale — we are in the lead!
As you may remember, we committed to writing 400 postcards by July 24 for Dan McCready — for the Special Election in NC-09.
Then Indivisible Ferndale declared they’d write 500 postcards — and out-perform Cloverdale! Well not so fast, Ferndale! We’ve written 554 postcards!
After Cloverdale Indivisible’s postcard writing session this past Monday, I received this email from Pam Browning:
Hi John,
We’ve done 700 postcards and will pick up another 200 tomorrow!
Onward! Pam
Indivisible Ferndale, we can not let this new challenge go by unanswered! Let’s raise the stakes by writing another 500 postcards to the good Democratic voters of North Carolina and win another congressional seat in September! Remember, we have the entire month of July to get these postcards written. So far, Jackie, Ruth, Lori, Susan Aste, Kathleen, Leslie, Barb and I are “in” for writing more postcards.
July is here. Happy Birthday, America!
Celebrate our nation’s birthday tomorrow by joining Indivisible Ferndale and Fortuna for the Fourth of July parade!
- Date: the Fourth of July, of course
- Time to decorate the hay wagon: 8:30 am
- Time to “line up” for the parade: 10 am
- Location: Stephen and Jennifer’s home at 1057 Fifth Street, Ferndale
- Bring your “In Our America” signs and wear your IF T-shirts!
Check the calendar here for public meetings to attend this month.
Please note that the Ferndale Planning Commission and FUSD school board are not meeting in July.
Together, We are Indivisible!
