Bias and Racism Workshop was a success
Thirty six community members and guests attended the Indivisible Ferndale sponsored Bias and Racism Workshop held this past Saturday at the Ferndale Community Center. Check out more photos on our website. The attendees included:
- the entire Ferndale City Council (Jenny, Michael, Patrick, Robin and Stephen)
- Ferndale City Manager, Jay Parrish
- FUSD Superintendent and high school principal, Beth Anderson
- Ferndale Elementary school principal, Jeremy Griffith
- FUSD board member, Danella Barnes-Penman
- Humboldt County Supervisor, Rex Bohn

Event: Kinetic Grand Championship

- Location: Betty Diehl’s home at 719 Main Street
Indivisible Ferndale will be serving up Betty Diehl’s “famous” chili recipe in front of her home on Main Street for the crowds of spectators who will be watching the kinetic sculptures cross the finish line. If you are interested in either making Betty’s chili recipe and/or serving it up hot at her home on Memorial Day, please send an email to Susan Diehl McCarthy here.
Event: Tour of the Unknown Coast

Indivisible Ferndale will be setting up an information booth similar to the Avenue of the Giants Marathon. We will need baked goods (scones, cookies, cupcakes) and IF members to run the booth. If you can provide baked goods, please contact Barb Vernon via email or call 786-7172.
