Jared and Jim spoke and IF was there

About 20 Indivisible Ferndale members joined several hundred community members at Rep. Jared Huffman and Assembly member Jim Wood’s Town Hall at St. Bernard’s Academy last night. Each representative spoke briefly at the beginning of the event and then opened it up to questions from the audience.
Rep. Huffman said being part of a House majority for the first time is an enjoyable place to be. He is now the ranking member on the Water, Power and Oceans subcommittee and was just appointed by Speaker Pelosi to the new select committee on Climate Crisis.
Assemblyman Wood said he is now part of “whatever is beyond” a supermajority of Democrats in the Assembly. He is chair of the Assembly Health committee and a member of the Budget committee.

Special thanks to IF member, Robert Mars, for 1) sitting in the front row last night and 2) getting some great photos of Jared and Jim! Robert was also part of the protest this past Monday at the County Courthouse.
