Democrat of the Year this Saturday
The Humboldt County Democrats are hosting the 35th annual Democrat of the Year this weekend.
Date: Saturday, September 28
Time: The reception begins at 5 pm with dinner served at 6 pm.
Location: Sequoia Conference Center, 901 Myrtle Avenue in Eureka
Admission is $80 per person in advance or $100 at the door.
This year’s theme is “Honoring America’s Teachers.” The honoree is Dave Demant, a longtime music educator on the North Coast and past President of the Eureka Teachers Association. Please consider joining us (Karen, Pat, Barb and I) at this fundraiser for the Humboldt County Democrats and the upcoming election cycle in 2020.
