This just in . . . PG&E’s next PSPS event is this evening
Here are some resources (assuming you have a smart phone that is fully charged) to use over the next few days during PG&E’s Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS).
Throughout the Humboldt Nation today, Saturday, October 26, PG&E will begin a power shutoff at 7 pm. This loss of electrical power to our community may last for several days. Be Prepared!
The Lost Coast Outpost will be continually updating their website with available resources here.
The Humboldt County Office of Emergency Services will be updating their Facebook page here.
If you have not already subscribed to Humboldt Alerts, do it here. By signing up, you can receive emergency alerts via email, text messages or phone.
Keep our Indivisible friends in Cloverdale Indivisible and Sonoma Indivisible in your thoughts as the Kincade Fire continues to grow and threaten more communities.
Lastly, take a minute to view the photo below from our October 6 IF General Meeting. Over 50 IF participants attended the event and one person brought his “twin brother.” See if you can find them both in this photo. Hint: Each twin is at the opposite end of the room.
